Polish logistics giant InPost has officially acquired Yodel, propelling it to become the third-largest courier in the UK by parcel volume. The InPost acquisition marks a major turning point in the UK logistics landscape, integrating out-of-home (OOH) and to-door delivery under one brand for the first time at this scale.
By merging InPost’s extensive locker network with Yodel’s home delivery infrastructure, the company is set to expand its reach dramatically, offering greater convenience and flexibility for retailers and customers. The integration will see InPost handling around 300 million parcels annually, supported by 10,000 Automated Parcel Machines (APMs) and over 18,000 OOH collection points across the UK.
The acquisition builds on InPost’s previous partnership with Yodel, which began in 2024 when the two companies launched a “locker-to-door” delivery service. It also follows InPost’s earlier acquisition of Menzies Distribution, giving it end-to-end control over logistics operations in the UK.

Under the deal, InPost has acquired 95.5% of the share capital of Judge Logistics Ltd (JLL), Yodel’s parent company. The remaining 4.5% stake is retained by PayPoint, extending their existing collaboration. The transaction was structured as a debt-to-equity conversion, with InPost turning £106m in convertible loan notes into equity.
CEO Rafał Brzoska called the InPost acquisition a “pivotal milestone” in the group’s expansion strategy, fast-tracking five years of projected growth. InPost expects the deal to be EBITDA-accretive within the first year, with the UK set to contribute roughly 30% of the group’s total revenue.
Neil Kuschel, CEO of InPost UK, added that combining locker and doorstep delivery services positions InPost to reshape the future of parcel delivery in the UK: “We’re excited to deliver more for the UK.”
With this bold move, InPost now stands behind only Royal Mail and Evri in terms of market share, capturing around 8% of the UK courier market and significantly expanding its merchant base to over 700 e-commerce retailers.
